Customer Service Representative | Mount Location

We would like to hear from anyone with transport/logistics background and is looking for role in Customer Service and would like to progress in the concrete industry.

Responsibilities include:

Plan and place concrete bookings for customers.

Answer and address all telephone enquiries for ready mix concrete providing a polite, professional and welcoming service.

Accurate entry of all orders into the computer order system – following all procedures.

Co-ordinating efficient delivery of ready-mix concrete, liaising with customers, drivers, yard staff and other depots.

Receipt inbound inventory and order products for jobs as required.

Assist in drivers’ hours and logbook management.

Required skills and experience:

Have good customer service skills and a willingness to get the best results for the customer.

Ideally have some relevant experience in, or knowledge of the building or construction industry (however this is not a pre-requisite).

Be a reliable team member as this is a key role in the depots daily running.

Be organized, detailed and have a good phone manner.

Be confident on computers and willingness to learn our concrete booking and despatching programs.

Have strong relationship building skills with both customers and suppliers, and have a hands-on, can-do approach.

Hours:

Mon to Fri

7am to 4pm

Pay – $28 to 30/hr
