We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our team. As a Rotor Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery and equipment to ensure the production process runs smoothly.
We have an immediate vacancy available for a full time temp to perm position in this busy team.
Responsibilities
- Set up machinery for operation
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure efficient production
- Perform quality control checks to meet production standards
- Troubleshoot and repair machine issues as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
- Communicate with team members to ensure a smooth production process
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or a similar role
- Knowledge of machine operation and maintenance
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Day-to-Day
- Set up rotor machines for daily production runs
- Monitor machine operation and address any issues that arise
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure production goals are met
- Clean and maintain machinery to ensure proper functioning
- Be able to lift 25kg bags of polymer when needed

We’re looking for dedicated individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality. If you thrive in a hands-on-environment and have a passion for road construction and you want to contribute to building and maintaining essential infrastructure in our community, this is the role for you.
Flexibility is a must as you will be required to work up to 12 hours per day when we are busy and 8 hours (min.) daily but may be required to work periods of night shift. Weekly hours between 40 hours (min) Monday to Friday and 70 hours (max). The work will involve stay aways for extended periods of time.
We’re looking for someone with:
- A clean, full Class 5 driver’s license with proven experience.
