Class 5 Truck Driver

We are looking for an experienced Class 5 Driver in the Bay of Plenty. We're looking for dedicated individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality. If you thrive in a hands-on-environment and have a passion for road construction and you want to contribute to building and maintaining essential infrastructure in our community, this is the role for you.

Flexibility is a must as you will be required to work up to 12 hours per day with rotating shifts. The work will involve stay aways.

Days - 5am to 7pm

Nights - 5pm to 6am

Pay : $35 to $40 per hour with Food Allowance and Night Shift Allowance

We're looking for someone with:

• A clean, full Class 5 driver's license with proven experience.
• Must have Road Ranger gear box experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality work.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, demonstrating reliability, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude.
• Good understanding of safety protocols and industry standards, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.

Working on various projects, you will be a vital part of the team. No two days will be the same and your tasks will be varied.

In addition to the above you will:

• Safely operate Class 5 vehicles, including transporting materials to and from job sites.
• Conduct pre-start checks and adhere to all health and safety standards and procedures.

Requirements:

• Have a Full class 5 NZ Drivers licence
• Have a good work ethic
• Be reliable and keen to learn
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Be able to pass a Drug test
• Be a NZ Citizen/ Resident or already have a current NZ work visa
