Heavy Diesel Mechanic

Join a well-respected business in Tauranga with a family-oriented workshop atmosphere. We are currently seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic for a full-time, permanent position based in Tauriko.
Responsibilities:
- Perform both workshop and fieldwork
- Conduct general maintenance
- Provide servicing and repairs for on-site breakdowns
- Communicate effectively with customers
- Respond to callouts as required
- Work on variety of equipment including trucks and diggers
About You:
- Excellent communication skills
- A strong team player
- Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated
Qualifications:
- Heavy Diesel Mechanic Qualification
- Must possess relevant industry knowledge
Pay: $40 to $45 per hour + a laptop + a mobile phone
Callout and standby fee: negotiable
Work hours: Mon to Fri - 7.30 am to 5 pm
