Leading Hand | Brush Hand

As a Leading Hand / Brush Hand, you will support our skilled painting team by assisting with preparation, clean-up, and painting tasks such as sanding, filling, and applying primer or paint using brushes, rollers, or sprayers. You'll help ensure the job site is safe and efficient, maintaining tools and materials, and following guidance from the site lead. In some cases, especially when acting as a Leading Hand, you may also oversee the quality and progress of work, coordinate tasks among team members, and help maintain safety standards and workflow coordination.

We are on the lookout for someone experienced in the preparation and sandblasting of industrial equipment. This role will be acting as a key member in our clients business and the ideal candidate will have the ability to lead, manage and work alongside a team.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience working with the preparation and sandblasting of industrial equipment.
• Previous experience within a supervisory or team leadership position.
• Physically fit.
• An awareness and understanding of Health and Safety at work.
• Mechanically minded.
• Experience in operating a forklift will be a bonus.

Hours of work:

Mon to Fri 7am start with odd Saturdays

Pay - Depending on experience between $28 to $31 per hour
